Beating Jet Lag and Finding My Groove Again
Well… I made it!
After what felt like an endless flight and a battle with jet lag that could’ve won awards, I’ve finally landed and settled in Perth, Australia.

The first few days were a blur of time zones, naps that turned into accidental all-nighters, and waking up not quite sure what day it was — but I’m slowly finding my rhythm again. Perth has this calm, golden energy that’s hard to explain. The air feels cleaner, the skies are bluer, and even on my most tired days, it’s impossible not to smile here.
And today — a small victory — I actually made it to the gym!
It might not sound like much, but after long flights, exhaustion, and getting used to a new environment, that first workout hits different. There’s something grounding about getting back into routine, feeling your body move, and shaking off the fog that travel always brings.
The gym here is spotless, full of positive energy, and just what I needed to feel human again. Music in my headphones, a good sweat session, and suddenly all the tiredness felt worth it.
This trip isn’t just about new scenery — it’s about rebuilding balance. I’ve promised myself to focus on staying active, exploring nature, and finding peace in slower days.
Tomorrow’s goal? Maybe a walk by the beach, a good coffee, and absolutely no alarms.

Here’s to adjusting, thriving, and making Australia feel a little more like home each day.
